Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use FareAhead. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What you can do

• Use the whole site with a keyboard, including the fare calendar.
• Zoom text up to 400% without content being cut off.
• Use a screen reader: every day in the calendar reads out its date, price and train.
• Turn on “reduce motion” on your device to stop loading animations.

Known limitations

• Station suggestions use your browser's built-in list, so how they're announced depends on your browser and screen reader. You can always type a station name or its three-letter code.
• Booking happens on Trainline, whose accessibility we don't control.
